5) Spending it with friends
6) Driving the corvette to get a pie shell
7) Watching Brett Favre throw 17 complete passes
8) Talking to my family and good friends
9) Sleeping on the coach
10) Spending 6 hours at Merryann's diner (no its not where I had T-day dinner- its a long story...) and learning not to trust out of order signs!

Picaso or Emril?

Zach got his first paint with water book. And he loves it!

And we made cupcakes with strawberry frosting! Zachio enjoyed eating more than making - but who can blame him.

(Think Z was going for the plumber-cook look!)

Just got to smile!

Its been a while since I posted - apologies on that - but I got a few stories and pictures to share. So check back soon!

Last night Zach went to the potty. A relatively common occurance in the Zachio and Daddio household. After he rose from the toilet seat and I performed my fatherly duties (i.e. wiping is such a fun parental task =). Zach turns to me and comely states:

"I poop bigger than you!!"

I just smiled back at him trying not to encourage his potty humor or discussion. And I figure if I do a good job fathering, get him to eat all his veggies and ruffage - maybe one day he will poop bigger than me - for now I have that title!

Survining Halloween!

Zachio and Daddio had a great Halloween! We started at 8 am - the folks I work with are great - there is something so wholesome about walking around your place of employment wearing a zorro mask flanked by your adorable son dressed in a cute cute tiger custome and getting your colleagues to give you candy!

Here is a photo journal of our Halloween.

To be honest the jackolaterns really didn't survive - but the mold and decay made them even more menancing!

Zachio trying out his Tiger claws on the wall!

He had a pretty imprssive growl - must be the Nittany Lion coming out in him!

The loot!!! (He was very impressed with it!)

Thanks again Bubbe for the best Tiger get-up!

Z says the darnest things!

Zachio has started to play me. Whenever I ask him to do something that he doesn't want to do he replies "Mommy doesn't make me .....[action verb]" or "At mommy's I ..... [action verb]". Tonight over dinner was classic.

Daddio: Zachio, what you do at school today?

Zachio: Played with Iris and calcus

Daddio: Cool! Calcus is fun. Could you please sit on your bottom

Zachio: Mommy says I can stand during dinner. (as he sits down)

Daddio: You excited about Halloween tomorrow?!

Zachio: Yeah, I am gonna be a scary Tiger! Are you gonna be spooky?

Daddio: I am gonna be spooky - dont worry! Could you eat some tortelli?

Zachio: Mommy says tortelli is not healthy? Candy bars are healthy, right!

Daddio: Ummm...your organic spinach tortelli is ok to eat. Pretty sure its healthy.

Zachio: Peas are not healthy. Mommy told me peas are not healthy
_______

Hope you all have a wonderful Halloween! Watch out for unhealthy peas and tortelli!!

He can dress himself!

It doesn't seem that long ago that all I could say about Zachio is that he could fill his diaper really well! While in a short manner of time (luckily), my little man can dress himself. This morning he demanded that he wear his oshkoshbagosh overallswith his Thomas the train t-shirt (i.e. his train engineer outfit). When I told him he needed to put on some shoes - he rain to his closet and put on his rain boots. Me being the draconian father that I am - told him that he couldn't wear his boots - he retorted - "Your majesty, train engineers wear boots!" (alright he doesn't call me majesty - I added that for rhetorical flair). He had me beat - train engineers do wear boots! So I let the 3 year old lawyer to wear boots to school!

I didn't manage to get a picture of the train engineer - but I did manage to catch a tiger in my living room. (Thanks Bub for the bestest tiger custome)!
