Today was a good day. Went to the humane shelter after work and got Charley. Sat down in the man chair and Charley climbed into my lap! He has been following around the house ever since we have been home. Sometimes happiness comes in four legged slobber machines. Just so no one thinks he is perfect he has had 2 accidents(great danes dont have small accidents!) and there is a good chance he could have a thrombotic embolism at any moment for the next month (side effect of heart worm treatment). Just makes me realize that no situation is perfect and sometimes you just got to take a risk. We will see if this one works out.
